What size cooler do you use when aging your deer. Someone stole my Coleman 105 quart out of the back of my truck and that's the one I usually use. My buddy has a 150 quart. I found a new 65 rtic cheap so I was thinking of getting that.

I like a big one, 100qt , if it’s cold weather I can pack enough ice and a good size deer in it and not worry about it

How many deer?

One deer goes in my Rtic 45, 2 deer in my 65, and 3-5+ deer go in a 150 quart Coleman.

We shortbone the meat to do away with leg bones and have actually, deboned the deer completely before putting in the cooler.

Bigger coolers take more ice and lose cooling quicker. A smaller, well packed cooler will hold ice better. Keeping the water drained is the key, just a slight drip
