Crabgrass

Primarily for my yard with fescue and Bermuda:

What post emergent crabgrass killer do you recommend?

While I’m asking, is there a pre emergent you prefer as well? I have been using the Lesco products.

I’m in Forsyth county. I put down pre emergent but inevitably have crabgrass that comes up and I’d like to have a post emergent on hand that is effective.

Thank you for your help and expertise.

Fenoxaprop would be your best bet with fescue but it will stunt bermuda, whats the majority of the grass in your yard?

Also, is there a pre emergent you recommend?

This is a couple acres, not a subdivision yard. Just want to control crabgrass as it’s been worse the last few years.

Baricade was recommended to me for my bermuda lawn. I put it down a couple of weeks ago so I am waiting too see if it works.

Quinclorac or fenoxaprop would be your best bet post emergence and be something you can spray on either grass, if it's tall fescue not fine. Barricade would work as a preemergent in either grass.

I used Clethodim in my clover plot a few years ago when I had crabgrass and it smoked it but it will kill all the grass so you may not want to use that.
