Extreme heat and batteries????

I started running cameras on some trough feeders back on the first of July and all of my cameras ate up the batteries so fast it was crazy! Like 3 weeks and all Tactacams were dead! Which we did have some really really hot days in Mississippi and I’ve never ran cameras this early in the year. Has anyone ever had this happen? They were alkaline but they last a lot longer in deer season than just 3 weeks

Heat shouldn't do that. What are your settings on?
I run them year round and don't see a difference based on the temps.

I have 4 n they will eat through batteries if you have them over feed.
A lot of guys on here have good luck with the solar panels

I cured the battery problem. I built external battery boxes. 12 volt 12 ah rechargeable batteries and herd 360 chew Proof cords. I have 7 TACTACAMs have been out for to 2 plus months . Batteries still 100 percent. All my settings are instant send

I’ve been running tactacams since they first came out. I’ve been running coverts for years. I have 22 cellular cameras and I’ve never had them drain battery that fast. They didn’t even send probably 300 pictures between all 3 before they all died. Maybe a bad batch of batteries I dunno.
