Found my first Chanterelle Mishroom

Found my first ever chantrelle mushroom im the middle of the trail while hiking. Wish there were more around. I heard they taste really good.

They are good. Rather than pull it up, cut it off at the ground with your pocketknife. Doing this saves the root system and keeps the chants clean.

The ones i've been seeing lately are pale and dry, or tiny.
