Glad you found him bfriendly ! I thought the same thing as others at first , didn’t look like he had been dead that long . But if you look at his rear end in the next to last picture you can tell he’s been dead a little while

Unpopular opinion but it’s mine. Leave the deer where he was he didn’t go in the cooler he don’t go on the wall. It sucks but he wasn’t found he don’t count. Beautiful deer though

Cannot see what is around in the pics, but if deer was found where shown in pics, why was the track not successful? It doesn't appear to be crazy thicket or sunk in a swamp etc. Looks like a clear cut area where buck was laying - but again impossible to tell from pics, just looking at clear area all around body.

Story behind tracking was pretty much no blood. But the deer was not in the middle of any think stuff For sure. Don’t believe they called in a dog, but they also thought it was a 6 point youngster.
