Ya'll may have already seen it on fb but I'm still riding on the high from last nights kill, so I am posting here lol.
The buck was on camera for the first time in July with a bachelor group of 4 bucks. 2 Basket rack 8's, a wide 8, and the target tall tight 11pt. I was hunting out of the ground blind with my compound bow. There was no rain expected in the forecast for my area but I heard thunder not far from me. I check the weather and sure enough there is a 1hr rain storm overhead. It rained hard for about 30min. Not even 15min after the rain stops a basket rack walk right by my blind within 15yards. Then another 8 then my target, then the wide 8. I kept my composure and waited for him to step, opening his shoulder to give me that perfect heart shot and thwack! He piled up about 60yards, heart shot using Nap kill zone cut on contacts.

Love it that you posted this in the bow hunting section! I'm gonna stick my neck out here and proclaim that "it just means more?"
