A few years ago, my buddy cranked in what would have been the world record 80-pound class greater hammerhead offshore of Freeport, TX, while I was captaining the boat.

We didn't have any idea, so we cut it loose.

It was really tough backing down a 38' sports fisherman for 6 hours when the largest thing you have ever driven was a 31' center console.

We just wanted to slide that beast through the transom door and snap a picture.

5 full-grown, strong guys, couldn't do it!
