It is a yellow colored dog. The shadow from the feeder makes the dogs head look as if it is rounded off...but you can see it's nose etc. It's a small yellow colored D-O-G!

Agree. The shadow from the feeder is what makes it look odd. Without the shadow you would just be looking at a tan/yellow colored dog.

Definitely has the colors of a lion, but that head ain't no cat. The head shape reminds me of a bull terrier. If you look at it just right, it looks like a dog head. But then you look again and it looks deformed. Lightning really plays tricks on our eyes.

Looks to me like the right back leg is back, parallel with the tail making the tail look much fatter than it is.
