It's the 2023 Random Food Thread

[Spotlite]

Fried beef liver and my vegetable gravy - usually green and red tomatoes but I forgot to take green out of freezer, onion, different colored bell peppers, crushed red pepper, cajun seasoning and gravy. I also use mushrooms in it but didn’t have any.

I do the normal brien gravy and onions too but only when I’m making a sandwich out of it.

Crust looks good. Not sure how much meat is in there though. Probably good but you can have my share.

You'd be surprised. My mama used to fry them back in the day when you bought a fryer & cut it up.

Took some of the carnitas I cooked up yesterday & made a version of those quesabirria style tacos @ssramage posted up the other day…
Will be playing around with this style more.
Right up my alley with the flavor profile, texture, etc!
