LOL, You can call your kennel what ever you like. However to have your kennel name registered with the AKC, you do have to submit it and have it approved.
If you have your kennel name registered, that really comes in handy if you want to avoid people using it, or stealing it from you. It also helps that when you register your dogs and use your kennel name......... Gets your name out there even more.
For example...... My GSP is registered as : Tuffdawg's remake remi
