new growth

i plowed my plots 3 weeks or so ago, i have a lot of new weeds growing. i am ready to lime next week,should i kill the new growth or turn it over right before we plant?

I would put down lime ASAP. It needs time to break down in the soil and go to work for you. About 2 weeks before you are going to plow again and plant, spray the weeds with Gly 4 Plus or some other RoundUp generic herbicide. You will likely get some more weeds, but at least you are killing the ones you already have.

We started doing this a few years ago before we planted a new plot and it has reduced our weed problem significantly.
