Don't know how many have heard but we have lost Noel Gonzales a great call maker and as outstanding a gentleman as you would ever meet. to anyone that never met him you missed a living legend,don't think he ever met anyone he didn't like,and the stories he told were priceless. May he R.I.P.

Noel was a fine man, a gentleman, a great call maker and turkey hunter... and he was my friend. I met him in January 2018 at Unicoi. I was immediately impressed with his kindness, how he was soft spoken, his quiet knowledge, his friendly smile. Something about him stood out from the crowd. I looked forward to seeing him again at Unicoi every year. I am so sad to think we won't talk again. My prayers are with his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by all.

His loss has been a tremendous one and affected the callmaking community greatly. I met him at the very first Unicoi show and have enjoyed seeing him and talking to him every year. Godspeed El Patron.
