Northwest suggestions?

So I live in northwest ga (walker county, right near the state line) and I’m looking for a good place to hunt hogs and maybe camp a few nights . I’ve never seen pigs on pigeon and have herd they are Jon’s mountain is there any other close-ish places without going past Atlanta. Thanks in advance

Warwoman and Chattahoochee have em - but get cozy with a topo map first and be prepared to burn some boot leather. You might have a shot if you’re camping. In my little bit of experience, it mostly boils down to the last hour of shooting light.

Does anyone here hunt Cohutta or Blue Ridge WMAs? How’s the hog population

Haven’t been in a long while, but cohutta used to have a good population and some bigguns! Jacks and lake conasauga(sp) areas. Bald mountain comes to mind as well.

Of those two, Cohutta is your best option for hogs. They’re everywhere and nowhere. I hope you have some good boots.

Dude where? I can’t find much sign at all........I used to see a bunch, everywhere! I’ve killed several there too, but it’s been a few years. I’ve been all over that place hunting turkeys too lately and still not much sign.
