Planting food plots in dr dirt

I planted back before the storm.
Oats and I&C peas.
I had good soil moisture so everything came up.
Now most of the peas have been eaten and the oats are about 2-3” and the tops are being nipped by the deer.
I’m hoping the oats survive until a rain.
