I know a few things. A copperhead when I see it. (pic above) And that this picture was taken in a no stopping, standing or parking zone. And it’s facing back where it came from. And it was perched there for a few hours, and gone by the time I was done shooting.

Hmmmmmmm. If recent, that sure is a lot of bone for this time of year.

That could’ve turned out ugly. They’ll get up under tarps and anything else. Went to attach a bush hog at our club one day, and after messing all around that thing and getting it attached, dad lifted it up and there was a big copperhead underneath. Always a good idea to look around good before reaching down an grabbing something.

Talk about bad luck. 1st try he loses both feet and a hand. 2nd try he lost the other hand. 3rd try he hits the power line because he can't run the thing without any hands or feet, as the pic clearly points out. I wonder if he made it?

I don’t know, but he gets in a lot of predicaments

Over in another county the power company was replacing some power poles. At the same time they were relocating he poles closer to the highway to get them out of a farmers field. At least that was the plan. During the job the plans were misread and one of the poles was placed further into the field. The next time the irrigation pivot came by, whamo, twisted sister.
