I thought it was cool how they formed a little team competition, lol. All this interaction reminds me of trips with my Dad and two daughters when they were young.
What sparked my interest though was I local guy headed down that way to fish the canals in and around those sugar cane fields. He had about 8 coolers. He said they would filet the Oscars, bring them home and freeze them and have fish all year.
That is a serious outdoor family. Gabe's brother, Robert, is who taught me to gator hunt properly. They are living the life we all dream about. Always outside and making a lot of money doing it.
I like how he said to stop along our journeys with our kids and show them things and look for stuff. I can't remember what he said other than deer tracks but it could be anything related to nature and history.
