How'd you cook it brother? Like a pot roast?Actually, I think they are kin to coons and dogs. This stuff was very good. It reminds me of beef pot roast, but with a more intense, richer flavor. Texture was like beef.
I could have made a fine supper with just the bear, gravy, and biscuits!
I did backstrap on the grill, melt in your mouthMy cousin grilled a bear backstrap on a big green egg. He marinated it overnight, sliced about 3/4 inch. Was as good a wild game meat as I've ever eat.
