We've cooked roast a lot of ways in the crockpot, including Mississippi roast, but this woman's recipe is pretty good and easy if you want to try another variety. I started not to try it because it calls for ketchup and Dijon mustard and didn't sound too appealing to me, but it doesn't taste like it is in there when done. It makes a real good gravy for your taters. My favorite way was leaving out the mushrooms and doubling the onion, and I think it gets better as leftovers.
