Spring/Summer plot ideas

Looking to plant Spring/Summer plots, looking for ideas and the best time to plant. We normally do Fall plots but this year want to place some emphasis on Spring and Summer plots
- What are you planting?
- When do you normally plant ?

We have a range of food plot sizes but nothing over 1.5 acres

I can’t plant anything on my 3 acre plot that has much attraction because they mow it down too quickly. I’ll probably plant sorghum/corn and thinking about American joint vetch mixed in

We plant Alyce clover and it's been very good to us.....and the deer. Very hardy, handles drought great and you can just overseed in the fall as the crop will be there until the first frost making it ideal for bow hunting

.... like sportsman94 says, it might be difficult ... joint vetch and alyce clover might be worth a try!

Unless you’ve got electric fences or 20+ acres of soybean/lablab/peas
