After experiencing a bit of trolling success the other day, the Ol Captain and the Electrified LOODY B were both fully charged up and ready for another adventure. My guest this afternoon was none other than my new friend and neighbor, Mr. Carl Rozier. Most of us just call him Carl but at least one of our group refers to him as “The Ludowici Flash.”
We only had about an hour and a half of daylight left so we were doing our best to redeem the time. Carl was ok pulling a dark-colored Rooster Tail off the port bow and a white Beetle Spin on starboard. The Ol Captain was dragging two white Beetle Spins from the stern.
Being a first-timer on board I explained to Carl that if we blanked, he would not be invited back. He rose to the occasion as the sun dipped below the pines by putting two fish in the boat!
I failed to explain to the Flash that if my guest catches fish and I blank he would certainly never ever be invited back!!
I’m not saying when the fish came but all I know is we were listening to Hank one minute on Pandora with no results. I switched over to the Gaither Vocal Band and Glory!! Things came to life!! We had a fine time to day and I look forward to many more trips to come!!
