A pound and a half of 10-15 count colossal wild Carolina shrimp. These things were huge, looked like lil' lobsters:
Peeled, deveined, butterflied, and taking a nap in some lemon juice and Crystal hot sauce:
Ran them through some seasoned flour, egg wash, and a mixture of coconut flakes and Panko, then off to rest in the fridge for 20 minutes:
Into the pool at 325*:
Everybody out of the pool:
Made up some dipping sauce: orange marmalade, Dijon mustard, lime juice, Crystal hot sauce, and cracked black pepper:
YHFP stirred up some hushpuppy batter with plenty of onions and jalapenos and took them for a swim:
It weren't no good. We spit it all out. The dog wouldn't even eat it:
