Where do you normally catch big Bream/ShellCracker on reservoirs.?

As much as I like Crappie,and Catfishing..I honestly like fishing for big Bream/Sunfish better. They taste better to me. Where do you fellas have consistent luck on these GA Power lakes & such with bigger sized Bream & Shellcrackers? I mainly fish Sinclair & Oconee..if that helps.

I fish Sinclair and have had good luck with shellcrackers but I don’t think I’ve ever caught a keeper sized bluegill in the 30+ years I’ve fished that lake. For shell crackers this time of year I like big coves about halfway back. Find water 6-10ft deep off the banks and fish that. Secondary points and flats are the best for me.

Not a big reservoir by any stretch, but here on our little lakes they will suspend on deep water banks with a lot of overhanging tree branches, bushes right over the water etc. Have to pitch the bait/lure up under them or right against them. Have caught a bunch of big ones, bluegill and shellcrackers, doing that during the summer months.
