Wilkes County Bear

I thought I saw a bear or hogzilla when a few deer seasons ago, and now I have to believe it was a bear. Pretty cool!

Man that’s cool. We don’t have them in this part of the state but they move through here occasionally. Was a trail cam pic of one about two miles from our place a few years ago.

I have often wondered if there are occasional bears in lincoln County. ...not that far from wilkes.

We had one on camera last August in northern Taliaferro near the 22 & 44 crossroads.

There starting to show up around Lake Seminole some. As the population grows in the Panhandle they have to go somewhere.

The Panhandle and The Forgotten Coast has a gracious plenty of bears. Year before last we had one cross in front of us between Apalachicola and Indian Pass. Middle of the afternoon.
