Let’s see those Wood Duck mounts!

Looking for ideas on how to get one mounted, figured it would be be cool to get pictures from others to compare.

The one on the right is what I’m thinking of getting mounted.

There’s no telling how many woodies I’ve shot over the years and it’s one species I’ve never had mounted.

I went with standing on a wood knot. head turned slightly to facing. i liked it cuz it shows off all the colors better. ill get a pic as soon as i can get one

Our native son, and probably the prettiest duck species to me.

I mounted these for myself years ago. It’s difficult to show off all the nice colors of a drake woody unless he’s sitting, swimming, etc. I tried to do it this way.
