I was remembering one of our get-togethers,and Mandy's thread reminded me of what a lot of good times I've enjoyed with some of the members here,especially the one where we chowed down on a bushel of oysters.

I started this thread as a way to invite yall to share some stories and pictures from gatherings you have attended.

I've been to a few gathering and many oysters got shucked while there. GREAT times.

I remember the one where me and @northgeorgiasportsman took the whole pig off the smoker at about 2-3 AM after the feller put it on there and then got drunk and disappeared into another dimension.

Yep...that so-called "Cajun" stoked the smoker with PINE logs,and disappeared!

I was at that one, but either the day of or the day after. Always good eats no matter what happens.

Nope, the one at Suches in the mountains was just as small (if you don't count the other campers in the lot that joined us).. if not one less, can't remember the exact count. Maybe @dwhee87 or @JustUs4All can chime in with some pix. 1st one I actually made it to after 2 tries.

Yeah! I got "rained out" on my 1st try at "Quack's" place, then the "wooflu" put a end to my 2nd try at the river (as you know).
