Congratulations on findin` a very nice polished grooved ax. Not every collection can claim one of those. It would be a safe bet to say that ax was made, used, and lost or misplaced by the original owner long before the Apaches, as we know them, came into bein` in the Southwest. That artifact could be a thousand years old, or older.

Sweet we didnt realize that it was that old of a piece!!!Yes the other one is a axe or tomahawk also it was found in idaho...
