Hey guys,
Due to all the rain we have gotten I am unable to fish my usual spots on the hooch. Does anyone know of any other good spots and places to go. Im becoming desperate!

Trout fishing

It is year-round blue line time. Those high creeks that are legal are the first to return to "normal" after good rains.

Another benefit this time of year - -the snakes are asleep.

Panther Creek

I know how you feel... the relentless rain and constant releases from the ACOE at the Dam are making us all crazy! I had some luck a week or so ago up on Panther Creek. If you can make the hour drive north of Gwinnett. A little more difficult than fishing the hooch, but there are a few hold-overs left in there from the spring & summer stockings.

It's a year-round stream, but they quit stocking around July 4th.

The rocks are slick to wade on, so be carefull.

I was able to land 2 browns and 1 bow. Turned a few over as well but they got off. If you can take the cold it might be worth the drive.
