A.C. froze up what should I do?

Check filter and air flow if its not one of those two its probably low on refridgerent

Indoor or outdoor unit?
I am guessing indoor. Change your filter, make sure the indoor coil is clean and if that is all good: It is most likely low on refrigerant.
No landlord and I don't think the Mortgage Company gives a rip if I have A.C. or not. Its and outdoor unit. I finally got one of my buddies in the Heating and Air business and he is coming to charge it with freon in the morning. This just sucks though becauase the house is hot as everything.
Are you saying the outdoor unit froze up?
Is this a package unit (both condenser and evaporator outside) ?
