Talked with another site member yesterday. He's recovering from an accident and doesn't really want to hunt alone. He invited me to camp with him at his club and hunt on opening day. He says that there are lots of birds on the property, and we should each be able to carry out a bird or two. I sure hope it works out. With my work schedule, I've only got 3 choices; our club that doesn't have a lot of birds, fighting the other weekend hunters on public land, or go with someone else.
