It's fun. All the stuff I have to put around my free pallets is not cheap. Lol! Wife calls it our almost free cabin. That's what I said. Almost free! Want another at my deer lease now.

Another update. Working my tail off! Getting close to finishing. Got distracted and added a place to pray with my boys. A lot of pallets to do these inside walls, ceiling, and floors. Be sleeping down there soon.

Thanks everyone. Bunk beds and a .22 shooting table on the porch is next. Excited about getting the boys out there. Listening to frogs and crickets. Good spot to be intentional about praying together as well. Big win I think. I blew my budget though.

Spend all the time possible with them.Playing with them and teaching them all you can. When they ask questions, answer truthfully and try to learn the answers to the ones that your not sure about or don't know. And play with'em all you can.
Looks like fine young'uns to me.Don't loose any together time cause it's hard to try to makeup..:smash:

pallets

So I get block and paver pallets every week. Decided to build a cabin for my 7 and 4 year old next to our creek. It's 50 yards from my house in Acworth. We back up to Corp property and frogs, whippoorwill and cicadas are loud here. Figure we will have campfires and sleep down there. Nothing is square and not much is level. We sure have had fun building it together. It's really a nightmare as far as building standards. I just really can't get myself to care about quality as much as having fun with the boys. So what's your ideas to save me money building or to have fun with the kids when it's built? Got food plot lanes going in across my creek. May install a skeet thrower on the deck. Also considering a zip line over the creek. Only on 1.5 acres so fun will be limited. Curious what people think of my insanity.

Doesn't matter what we think--the smiles on those guy's faces say it way better than we could!..
Thank you for being a great Dad,they are fine looking young men and, with the upbringing you are giving them, they will return a lifetime of love and respect.
