Who uses wing bone calls and to what degree of success do you have with them? Do you consider them to be one of the top calls in your arsenal?

I use a trumpet, success I've struck a bird before when I got no answers out of my vest.
Last 5 birds I saw die, all had a trumpet involved.
I'd like to add a wingbone or yelper into the mix at some point.

I do. Made my Mr. Mark Sharpe on this forum. Nice to put it around your neck and not have to tote nothing else!

I always use a trumpet, not necessarily a wingbone. Very effective calls.

I use one by Mark Sharpe, highly recommend his calls. Success has been pretty consistent. It's probably the one piece of equipment I make sure I have when I leave the house. And I've been known to leave boots,shells, and other items, but so far I haven't forgot my wingbone or lost it. Probably helps that's it's tied to my neck.
