Onions

Mine are coming along very well. Been pulling a few of them for supper almost nightly. Some of the tops are pushing waist high!
Potatoes are starting to bloom too!

Man. Ya'll are making it look easy. I'm going to have to try a patch of sweet onions next year!

Yep I'm pulling a few every few days, can't eat em all before they spoil in storage. I also have a few taters blooming, soon I'll scratch me out a few of them too.

It is easy, dixondale slips, plant like they recommend, ammonia sulfate every 3 weeks and there you go,onions.

It's time

Time to start pulling and letting them dry. Here is a pic of a few of the big ones. Several this size but overall average is closer to baseball size. Mighty good

I let mine fall over and the stems get mostly dry before I pull em. Ive pulled 20 gallon already and the biggest Ive grown thus far. I have mine under the deck on an old sheet so I can bring em in before it rains. I gave away about 5 gallons yesterday, no way we can eat this many before they ruin.
