All of us at one time or another have thought how nice it would be to have a huge deer stand. I have come full circle. I dislike hunting my houses. I prefer an open stand now. The bigger, the worse it is. In a nice rail type loc on, I twist my head, hardly showing movement. I can hear so much better also in the open. In the bigger houses, I move to this window, then move to the next, and so on. I get spotted more in a box than I do in the open. Mainly due to moving my head so much. You can't see well out of a box stand much bigger than 5 foot. Before this, another conversation, I had removed all the expensive glass from my houses. LOL, a solar panel running a fan was what it took to keep the windows defrosted from the heater running. Now I just trust my camo and my coveralls to keep me warm
