Black arrow heads and another tool

My SOs granny have him a bag of arrow heads and some other type of tool.
She said she thinks they were found around her house, around the St Mtn area.

Googling, I think they are obsidian.
Holding up to the light the thinner part is smokey.
That's not common to stone mountain area is it?

I have no idea on the other piece though.

The bottom image looks like a "Trim Stick". We use these in the automotive industry to pry out trim pieces with out marking the piece.

Agree on the "modern" obsidian arrowheads...

The bottom piece looks like "welding chalk" or "engineers chalk" - it's piece of soapstone used to mark metal for welding/cutting. The soapstone doesn't mess up the weld like some other materials.

Yep, those are obsidian gift shop points. They are mostly unifacially flaked, and they make them by the thousands in Mexico.
