Mikell's 25 pt is definitely the biggest buck I've ever seen! He's got to be the most professional hunter I've ever hunted with.

A true one-in-a-lifetime, freak of nature buck!

I think he could peel the velvet and get him scored? If that was the hunter's desire to get it accurately measured.

Don't waste your money, it's legal here, I don't know anybody who has done much good hunting over corn, sure they eat it during summer, deer don't seem to be much interested in a corn pile after acorns start falling also soft mast, I have fed them in my yard, after mid september they leave it.I think it's highly overated, Awesome buck by the way!

Default Awesome

My hunting property is really really close to Mikell's. I heard about this deer weeks ago before it was killed. Apparently he had him on trail cam pics. I was hoping the rut would bring him to my property. It is crazy to think this deer might have roamed my woods. That's what keeps me going back every year. Congrats to Mikell.

Congrats on harvesting a fine georgia giant. That's the result of deer management and allowing that deer to reach maturity minus a testicle or not.

Was also told that deer only dressed out at 140 pounds. I imagine half of that was antler weight.

Default Congrats to Mikell

A few weeks ago I posted about bucks not dropping their antlers from year to year. I was referring to this buck that I had gotten on camera. I knew Mikell might get him and didn't want to draw attention to the area.

On another note, I have a stand where this photo was taken. I felt lucky to have gotten a picture, but I would have loved to kill him.

Mikell is a good hunting neighbor and deserves the props for getting the buck.

FYI- we got pics of him in Jan 2013 in full velvet as a 140" 8 pt. Crazy how it grew this year.
