Who's gonna get out this evening?
I'm excited first day this week haven't worked 12 hours. Got home early and fixing to load up. Don't want to launch boat as windy as it is so I am planning on hitting another spot I have scouted one time before on public land. Got a strong easy wind. Can't wait to get out in the woods!

Been up a tree on Di lane since the flood slacked off this morning. Got the ssg 3000 in case one wants to play games at some distance.

Headed to some public ground shortly. More of a scouting trip than anything, but I'll have one knocked and ready.

Finally got situated. Forgot how far back it is to this spot. Jumped a pig in the way in. Sitting in someone's ladder stand on public land. Whoever put this here a big ole thank ya! I leave it better than I found it.
And I checked it out before climbing it also got my harness on just in case!!!

I’m on the ground from some local public. Checked out two spots and didn’t see what I was hoping for. Pushed in deeper behind one of those areas. Sitting a few acre red oak flat surrounded by pines. They are dropping all around and there are some beat down trails throughout.

I just had a small 4 pointer walk right under my stand. Smelled my climber laying in the ground and trotted off.

I was informed there was no such thing as a black coyote. Only a Bartram wolf. I still call em black coyotes. Doesn't make me sound so pretentious

I’m no expert, but it was some kind of canine. Lol. And if would have slowed for half a second, it would have toted a rage. Heck, I may have mounted the thing. It was absolutely gorgeous.

Saw six total. The one buck and five does! What a wonderful hunt this evening well needed. Glad the Lord blessed me with the opportunity.
