Well my 4 day hunt is about to rap up.... don't really want to shoot a doe here.... haven't shot one at Sheffield in 5 years. Not that I haven't had the opportunity

Wish I was out there. Instead I'm being all productive and contributing to society and all. For the most part, I'll always be a weekend warrior hunter unless I win the lottery. You guys that can spend the normal working days out there make me jealous.

I schedule my work week.... being self employed has its good and bad sides. I don't take summer vacations . I take time in deer season unpaid

I get 6 weeks vacation.

My wife gets one, I take one in the spring to crappie fish and the rest goes to hunting season.

No afternoon sit for me. I just got done seeding 2 plots and it’s raining!! Latest I’ve ever planted but when you can’t get rain, you wait!
