Got a call from my ole retired friend at the lake today saying he found a shotgun in a case in the parking lot where we park. I called several of the guy that have boat stalls to spread the work.

Couple of hours later I put another box of steel shot in my truck. I knew I had taken my rifle out but shotgun was GON. I went to his house and it was MY shotgun. How in the world it came out is my truck I’ll never know. I did go down there yesterday and got a jacket out of my truck but didn’t go hunting.


I guess it fell out and I didn’t notice. Thank God for honest people. I bought it a year ago for 1k.

I leaned my rifle against the front tire of my truck after coming out of the woods on NF land once. Drove an hour or so home and realized I’d forgot to put it in the truck. Drove back down and thank god it was still laying there undamaged.
