Up a tree on a field edge in Cobb the buck dad is hunting was in the corn while he was walking in. Hopefully he wants another kernel or two at some point this morning.

In a lone white oak on the edge of some thinned pines. Bumped a couple on the way in. Got rain coming through about 10:00, so it’ll be a quick one.

Up in Butts 1st hunt of year..just got busted by this ole nanny been trying to choot for 3 yrs..she came in real cautious to be so early in the year got to 45 in clear did the foot stomp & bolted..blew a few times..upwind..like a statue & still got me..gottta be 8-9 yrs old..never has a fawn..might have been best chance to take her..5yds outside comfort zone..nice am!!

In the blind with my 8 yr old son. I just got this new 270 degree see through wall blind. Liking it so far. I feel exposed but they can't see into it. Raining a little bit. Pike county
