I am not sure where Begg stands on “the sacraments”. If he is like most evangelicals Holy Matrimony is not a sacrament and therefore who cares if grandmother attends, however, if it is a Holy Sacrament, as it is seen in the majority of Christendom, then granny cannot attend, by doing so she is putting her blessing on an improper union. Of course Holy Matrimony can only occur between a male and a female anyway so much of this discussion becomes semantics.

Go to the party but skip the farce ceremony.
