I've had a little luck with code blue. Small bucks seem to come to it but it spooks the does on my land. I normally don't use scent though.

I've read does not in heat tend to avoid one that is in heat, they don't want to be aggravated and harassed by a ***** buck in rut.

Gonna' guarantee you a 4.5 year old buck or older pays way to much attention to the wind...

Most hunters put their scent down wind so they can watch it, where do they think their scent goes.

better to put it 75-100 yards in front of you with the wind in your face.
