I know I have. It used to be that I had a load -- or several different loads, depending on my intended game -- for each of my rifles that was very specific in terms of components used. These loads were recorded in my master recipe book, and set in stone. Yeah, sometimes I had to search a bit for a particular bullet or powder, but I would eventually find it.
My, how times have changed! Today I find myself buying powders I never dreamed I'd
use, and developing loads with it utilizing bullets I swore I'd never shoot! It's either that, or not load anything at all, because what I want shoot is not just hard to find, but in many cases totally impossible to find!
A few years ago, I thought these component shortages would end soon. Today, however, I fear that this is the new normal. In the future, we either learn to be flexible, or take up pickleball as a sport!
