Not sure I’ve ever seen one of these big things . I’ve seen several the past few days in my yard . Touch them and they ball up . Anyone know what they are ?

No idea. They look mean though. I saw my first one ever about a week ago. Thing stayed balled up for hours!

We always just called them wooly boogers. When they hatch out, you'll see them all over the place. I even notice them when they're crossing the road as I'm driving. Harmless to touch them. Some claim they predict weather but that's probably as reliable as a groundhog.

They are way more accurate than the high paid weatherman. (which doesn't mean a whole lot)
