Cold Weather!!

moving in for the week end, do you think the deer will be on the move or not??

depends on the wind really. If the wind is blowing like it will be on thursday over the weekend then I am afraid the movement will be minimized. I will end up slip hunting if it is. I cant sit on top of the ridge I hunt when theres much wind.

I snuck in today to get into my afternoon stand but had to stop 1/2 the way in at 5:15. The does were crawling all over the field cutting me off to get to the far edge of the field and into the hardwoods. The lunar charts had 5:30 as peak movement for the day so they were right on again.

The wind will be bad on thursday but friday and saturday should go below 10mph. Thursday's high winds will keep movement down to a minimal. Should be a great weekend.
