Deer favorite acorns?

The one with the most sign under it. I have sat on a live oak hill loaded with acorns and watched deer walk past certain trees with acorns to get to that one that they like the most . There is always a favorite tree in any area that will draw deer to them more than the others. Sometimes they prefer the one they can eat under in the most cover but sometimes like the other day they will walk past acorns on the edge of the swamp to get to the oaks dropping right by the road .

So hunting here in Southern GA i have run across very few white oaks or red oaks most of what i see are the live oaks or dwarf live oak (have these in my yard droppin acorns like crazy. Should i stick to those. I am hunting public land.....I here reference down here to swamp oaks or water oaks.....any idea what those are?

Mhall check out the app Virginia Tech tree id. It will tell you what you have in your area using ur gps. This is what I'm using to learn how to identify the different species of oaks.
