DIY Wood Box Blind Or Millennium Buck Hut?

My Buck Huts have stayed out all year with no issues except fading. Always dry inside during rain. Very warm inside during winter and archery season! I have some new tower stands I have built out of the chemical crates for Missouri winds 20-60mph.

I used the Buck Hut for two seasons, the cover stayed out about 4 months each season.

Walls are 5 foot high length is 5 foot and width is 5 foot. When you rip your wood down in size, it increases the inside space. they’re advantages to maximizing interior space without having to build A 4x8 two people can sit side by side in this comfortable. Once I put the roof on it will have an inside height of about 6’2 in the center. It will have a gable roof on it like on a house

Built for around $100.
Used scrouged up wood. Only costs were the landscape timber legs and and screws and bolts.

I prefer to build my own stands, rather than buy pre-made, but then I am a DIY type guy and don't like to spend alot of money on stuff I can build. YMMV

For the faded canvas folk have any dyed using rit dye or similar?

The fading wouldn't bother me as I would prefer to have a break up pattern on the exterior.

Here is a picture of the chemical crates.I have started on this one and I will cut windows out put it on a 4X4 3/4 treated ply wood. Then I will mount it to a 10' tower I purchase from the Sportsman Guide.

This is the finished Product sitting on a cut soybean feild in NW Missouri. I put a Millennium chair in middle of stand. I have it strapped down with a Mobile Home anchor and it has held up well up to 60 mph winds!
