I had a classmate in high school went to sleep in his sleeping bag between the rails. He is still sleeping. Never knew if it was suicide or bad judgement.

Amtrak runs 79 mph...

We call those train fans "foamers" because that's all that's left when you hit one...

I got in trouble one in Folkston, Ga. Big foamer community there.

I was southbound about to cross the river, and we were meeting Amtrak. He was flat bookin' it, too.

I called him on the radio and told him to look out for a "dumb mass foamer" set up too close to the tracks, like S1s video guy...

Amtrak says "if he's that stupid, I'll splatter him and never slow down"...

We laughed and signed off.

That was when we found out that Folkston had installed a scanner and speaker so the foamers can listen to the railroad radio...

Foamer complained to Jacksonville about being called a DA, and "threatened" to be run over...

Seems to me like you'd have to work at getting runnovered by a train. Not like he's gonna take off across the field after you.
