Enfield 308 Cal. Question

Tried to post a pic but cant.
My question to you is can this Enfield
Be customized with a different stock
with out to much expence , like closeing out the bank
on it. Or would it be even worth doing something to
this to this fine rifle. A long time ago I had a 8mm
done ,put a Monte carlo stock on with new sights.
Now im talking 36 plus years ago too. If I remember
correct it cost me $160.00 greenbacks to do it
but was a fine looker and shooter.
Im in a thinking mood

That'd be a Indian Enfield, also refered to as an "Ishy" and yes you can get syn. stocks for it. Do a search for Ishy Enfield.
