One of my best buddies is a local ag agent and we have been talking about experimenting with some ag byproduct for attractant.

What are your thoughts on leftovers from grape mash?

I knew a guy that tried similar with a lot of muscadine left overs.
Never knew if it attracted deer or not.
The 8 million yellow jackets ran him off though. :D
Yeah, that was my thought as well. If it's raw squeezings, the jackets will swarm it. If it's been fermented into silage, it ought to be good. Cattle like it.

That's something I would have never thought of. Interesting. I like it. Never hurts to try as long as you're not allergic as others have pointed out about getting stung. Good luck if you decide to try it.

My daughter used to live in Forsyth County and we saw a lot of deer there. I never thought about there not being hogs there! There are for sure plenty of them not very far from there.
I am hunting a piece on the Oglethorpe/ Greene line. Lots of water, planted pines, no hogs.
No idea why. Most places just like this one are covered up.

Same for where I hunt in Hancock. Havnt seen a hog in about 10 years. We're here before that.
