Let some tap water sit overnight and then add 2 tablespoons sea salt per quart. Pack your small pickling type whole in it with your dill and garlic and let it sit on the counter 7-10 days. Makes quick and easy old fashioned sour pickles, if you like the fermented taste better than vinegar taste.
